Anyone received GC without getting 140 approval notice?

Hi All, UN,
hope you guys can help.

I got my GC in hand on 10/10 already but never receive 140 approval notice in mail and online status is still pending. anyone heard of similar experience? My lawyer said infopass wont help much since they are only local officer. Is there any possible they issue GC with 140 pending? I dont think so. My lawyer call USCIS CRS but they only read the online message to her...anyone can help? Thanks. btw, my 485 approved on 8/23.

People here wait for years to get the GC and you get it without 140 approved

You must be one of those first world country dudes who are not put in long line of security checks

But seriously... call USCIS yourself. Whenever my lawyer calls, it appears USCIS customer service has nothing much to tell. However, in my experience USCIS customer reps are more informative than what the lawyers will tell you. I believe that you can file an enquiry telling them about your peculiar situtation.

My guess is that your I140 is approved. It is just that they have not updated their system properly

yes, me and my lawyer also guess they didnt update their system properly. i dont think they will approve 485 without 140 pending. cuz i file concurrent so if my 140 got denied, i wont have 485 approved. a bit frustrating. i think im the only one who already got GC but still have to worry.

and yes we did call and inquriy with them and said will get back within 30 days. but my experience tell me they really dont know much most of time they read onlne message as we see.

I hope so too. Cuz right now I already adjust my status, I cant apply H1 or anything like that. My lawyer already call to inquire my 140 but so far no news. BTW, I am from Taiwan. oh, do you have any infopass experience? My lawyer said it's not really helpful......
