Applied my 485 in Oct 2001.
RD is 10/04
Got married and came to this country and applied for my wife in March 2002. Her RD is 03/21/02

Left the sponsoring company in July 2002 and joined another company with EAD and getting paid hourly(W2).
So far didnt inform INS about job change, since i didn't change my address.


What are the chances of me getting RFE?

Anyone got approved without an RFE?

Please let me know...so far no info from INS
 
My spouse filed I-485 on 06 August 2001. got married and filed for me on 22nd october, 2001 . My spouse left the original company on June 10 , 2002 got the case approved on 28th August without a RFE , got passport stamped on 23rd September and received plastic card on 25th October .
I am waiting for my turn to come.............
if things follow like in our case you will be approved without a problem/RFE

Chances of you getting an interview call are more than RFE.
You have two good reasons for that.
(1) Marraige happening after filing of 485
(2) A Job change.
This is happening quite often now. Recently, I came accross 3 such cases.
Hope for the best and prepare for the worst, thats all you can do anyway.
 
The chances of getting RFE?
It all depends on the adjudication officer handling your case and also your luck.

and what EB category your wife applied?

My wife had applied under EB3 and her employer was based in NJ however she was in Phoenix when she filed for I 485.

I was working in Indiana when she attached my application after two months of her application.

Before her approval she moved to Chicago and left the orginail employer in 7 months of 485 filing.

However god willing there was no RFE for her and I do not expect any RFE for me either as we had married in USA court and marraige certificate is from USA authorities.

I am well prepared for an interview if they wanna cross check our marraige as we are now living together and we can explain why we were not together for a year(becuase of job). We had filed our tax together for last year.

Yes, today is anniversary. No additional news. I know that INS officers went home happily. May They all have a great weekend, may their wives and girl friends are so good to them that next week they start approving all of our cases.

Rd: Oct 1/01, FP resumed March 14/02, AD: some time next year..(2003)..hope, I am wrong.
