Anyone know what VSC is doing?

I dont see any approvals these days. A bunch of folks on this forum have both their PDs and RDs current. SOme of them are stuck in Name Check.

In my case they say it is stuck in name check but one officer had told me that VSC got the all information it needed for my name check and they would have to update the computer with that information when my PD gets current.

I have not even seen them updating my information. I was wondering if anyone else has similar experience and/or knows what the VSC is upto these days.

P.S. they seem to be transferring some 485 cases to NSC/TSC but I dont think I have heard them transferring any cases whose PD is current. if you have some information in this regards please post it.

I don't think they are transferring cases where the PD is current. I phoned to-day to National Service Center nothing new. But I could gather one thing, he said, IF your PD and RD both are current then he would be in a position to put in an enquiry (via e-mail) to the concerned officers. My RD is not current so I bluffed him that it is 12th of March 2005(actually July 2005). Then this guy goes to the net and finds out some obscure clause and tells me that an enquiry can only be initiated if more than 30 days have passed and shown on the site as processing date after MY RD i.e. if RD were to become April 12th only then an enquiry would be initiated.

I am thinking of calling him tomorrow again and telling my RD is Jan 2005 so atleast that will put in an enquiry and hopefull whoever the officer will start updating the name check after finding atleast my PD (supposdly) is current.

Did he give you the email ID?

Did he give you the email id where we can initiate an enquiry? Also you said you called National Service center (not the VSC in particular right?). So you just called (800) 375 – 5283 and then how did you get to speak to a Customer Service rep?

Never lie to them, you may get into trouble.
 
I called this number 1 800 357 2099. I don't remember what options I went through, but may be something like "Your case is outside processing time then press XYZ"

To-day I must have made a record by going to this site 87 times(I counted)

Please post if you have any information!!!

As you talk to your lawyers or hear rumours etc...please post them here. It is really very undermining sitting without any information whatsoever about what/how/when VSC is going to shape up and do the right thing.

Use this thread ot post ideas/thoughts and share some hope.
