Anyone know what a T/o is

I was reading the 485 processing document explaining how 485 is adjudicated and the documents says that.

If the skin reaction is > 5 mm then -- T/o for a chest x-ray and results of this test.(on page 175).

I am guessing that T/o is a document/RFE kind thing. anyone know what it is .

All that I can tell u is if the skin bulge is around 10 mm then doctors
consider it as TB +ve and ask you to go for chest x-ray which may
further proove if u r +ve or -ve.
 
t/o in medical terms is telephonic order...
in this case it means to send the person for a chest xray.. nothing to worry about as all from india and other places where they rcvd BCG at birth test positive...then chest xray if u have no tb comes out negative...and thats ok
unless u get positive chest xray... then u have to take treatment and all.

all the results.. should be a part of your medicals which u submit as then u shall get no rfe on that. so do the skin test.. positive ... go for xray... hope its negative take it back to mediacl Dr and he puts down the result on your form and then its sealed for sending out to uscis

thanks for + ve response. my chest xray came out to be abnormal and i have inactive tb. doctor has given me treatment now. although he had given me medical clearance. i read in the pdf that people with abnormal chest xray will be transferred to local office for 485 processing. any idea abt this .. any comments

my 'guess' is if everything else on ur 485 is good then u can be called
to a local office for examination and if ur 'inactive TB' is not serious
according to USCIS then u can be good to go. ie. U may be evaluated
by another doctor in local office.

i understand that my case will be transferred to a local office. now my 485 is in CA (company there). and home is in nebraska. where will my case be transferred CA or NSC?. also is this similar when someones case gets transferred from like TSC to VSC and i have heard people say it will be a long delay since they cant track their case now.

Case will be transferred to local office near place of residense...
So in ur case it will be somewhere in NE.

There should not be any change in 'online tracking' because of service center
change.

by the way in ur case its just getting transferred to local office which
is not a service center. Its just an immigration office and every city
depending on its population has such offices.
