If my wife does not make the money to cover the 125% support, Can i add my income?

Also Do I have to add form 864A?

Yes, you can fill out from 864A to show yourself as a co-sponsor. Make sure you have last 3 years of income tax papers to prove your income.

Do you know if the income from the immigrant must be also over 125%" or

just the income of both(sponsor and immigrant) must be over 125%

Some confusion that a read on file I864

Some more confusion that i found inside the explanation form.

First

form 864A say:

A ''household member'' is any person (a) sharing a residence with the sponsor for at least the last 6 months who is
related to the sponsor by birth, marriage, or adoption, or (b) whom the sponsor has lawfully claimed as a dependent on

So if i just married my wife and start living together i can not claim my income to cover the 125%? Do i have to wait 6months?

Um more confusion:

Form 864A say

A sponsored immigrant who qualifies as a household member is only required to
complete this form if he or she has one or more family members immigrating with him or her and is making his or her income
available for their support. Sponsored immigrants who are using their assets to qualify are not required to complete this form.

So if just me base in this Text i don't have to file this form?????

Sorry Eric
Another question

Please read also the one before that.

Form I 864 say

That the joint co sponsor(in the case the husband of the USC) must provide income above 125% by himself to become a co-sponsor.

So,If the wife does not make the 125% what is the law

wife + husband = 125%

or

wife (below 125%) + husband 125%= you are cover
