Anyone in this peculiar situation before

Hi All :

I have been a silent watcher of this excellent forum for quite a while and I would really appreciate if someone could give some insights on what's happening to our case.

My notice date is Nov 11, 2002 at the NSC. My wife as fingerprinted on Jan 04,2004 and I was finger printed on July 11, 2004.

Last week an employment RFE was raised on my case and my lawyer promptly replied back. The USCIS case status on the internet was also updated accordingly from the RFE being issued to the RFE being received by the USCIS. Surprisingly my wife's case status also shows that an RFE has been raised but my lawyer has not received any RFE to date for her. He says that he has seen cases where the husband's RFE is erroneously put on the wife's case.

As for me, I never changed employers .. 485 was filed after 140 was cleared.

Any thoughts ? Thanks in advance !

Interesting to see that a Nov 02 (I am a fellow Nov 2002 waiter too) case is being touched..

Did you mean you were finger printed on July 11 2003??

As for the RFE for your wife.. you should get it in the mail .. occasionally there are delays n the mail ... if you (or your attorney) don't receive the RFE in the mail, please call the NCSC ...

Good to know Nov'02 case being touched. I guess its probably delay in mail.

Thanks for you inputs sairam1 and auddaraj . I am sorry that was a typo .. My wife was fingerprinted in Jan/2003 and me in July/2003.

My RFE was on employment verification letter. I am going to call the NSC tomorrow.
