Anyone in similar situation.....got Fp in less than 3 months....

Hello all,

I\'m one of the IGATErs with Pd of 10/97 and I485 RD of 8/99.
I filed my i485 papers back in 8/99 and recevied the FP notice on 11/99 (in less than 3 months after filing for I485).
Since then it has been a long wait.

As everyone of my friends/colleagues who filed along with me got their GC approved in last 12 weeks,
(they all received their FP notice between Jun-Dec 2000), my case is still pending with VSC.

Is anyone in similar situation ??
Please shed some light.

I believe, VSC removed the hold and started processing all company name change cases effective June 19, 2001. If you still haven\'t received any RFE, then, you might get an RFE and as soon as you respond back, within the next 10-20 days you will see your approval. If your amended I-140 is already applied and its in VSC\'s system and got approved, then, you might get your case approved without any further RFE. At this point it doesn\'t matter whether people filed before or after got their approval already or not. Good luck.
