Anyone has used an altenate address as mailing address

I was wondering if any has experience using an alternate address (PO Box, friend's address, etc) as the address for the AoS application (I-485, I-130), etc. That way if one moves within the DO jurisdiction, one would file the AR-11 but one would NOT have to change the address for the AoS applications.

That's doable. They'll ask to see your drivers license at interview though. So don't move far.

Since I am planning to use a friend's address, do I state that explicitly in my application that the address is only my mailing address?
