I got my asylum approved in Jan.2004 and sent out I-485 in Jan.2005 to NSC. My case was transferred to TSC in Jan.2006. Then I got a notice from USCIS notifying this transfer.

In the following year, I did I-693 and fingerpriting code 3 and updated G-325A in Feb.and Mar.2006.

I got a positivie skin test and a negative chest X-ray. I thought I got medical clearance since the chest X-ray was negative and my civil surgeon signed on the Form I-693, certifying medical clearance was granted.

My LUD keeps chaning from time to time, but had no change from Dec.2006 until May.2007,when I got another RFE from TSC about my I-693 TB test. It seems there was some understanding and cofusion caused to the officer about how the TB testing procedure works. I did write a letter by myself explaining why the civil surgeon granted medical clearance and sent it back to TSC.

I also received a second fingerprinting code 3 notice from local ASC. I did the fingerpringting last Saturday, Jun.23 2007.

Guess what happened then?

Yesterday, June 25,2007 my case status changed to the following:

"On January 17, 2006, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer........"

The exactly same message was received in JANUARY 2006!!!

I am very afraid this whole process would start over again?????

I'd like to listen to what you guys think of my case..........Any input is highly appreciated.

you shouldn't be far away from approval.
1- If your skin test was reactive in the past years, regardless of that, you are still required to take a new skin test with the diameter-size fully measured any time you are doing a new Medical (new USCIS Procedures).
2- After 15 months also your fingerprint will no longer be valid (you have to redo them).
Sit tight you are getting closer to approval.
Best Luck.

I think it is common to transfer cases back to the original place where the case started. I was in a similar situation; I had a positive skin text and a negative chest x-ray. To be save I went to my regular doctor and have her write a note for the person who did my x-ray so that they can attach it to my medical form. I did not have any problem with the test. But INS transferred my case to my local office for interview, once that was done they transferred my case to TSC. Then, the good news came in the mail. It took them about 3 weeks to send me my green card. So don’t panic. It is going to be alright. If you are worried maybe go and talk to your doctor and get some kind of note. That way if they come back and ask more information you can show them what the doctor wrote regarding your test. However, I don’t think you should worry about it. Good Luck
