Anyone has moved or change address before?

Hi! My Notice Date was August 10, 2005 and I have since moved from South Carolina to Virginia. I have received my work permit but have not receive my fingerprinting notice yet. It's been quite a while. I see that quite a few people here with notice date much later than mine has already received their fingerprinting notice.

I called USCIS and asked and she said anytime there is a move, there will be delay. Has anyone experience something like this before?

I hope you filed AR-11 AND called USCIS to update your records with the new address AND your sponsor filed I-865 to notify a change of address.
 
I was under the impressin that I-865 form needs to be submitted (by the sponsor) only if the address of the company/business/employer/sponsor changes. Not if the employee moves or changes employers. Right?

You are right. I should have been more specific. If sponsor changes address, I-865 should be filed by the sponsor. If alien changes address, AR-11 should be filed AND call USICS to update address on records.
 
Yes, we have file all those forms mentioned. In fact, we even made a copy of our forms to the National Benefit Center.

Is it weird that my application is so slow? It seems like a lot of people on this board has notice dates much later than mine but they have already had their biometrics done as well as interview. I am feeling extremely anxious about my situation.
