Anyone got TSC EAD with RD May 15 or later?

My RD is May 15 and still waiting. It seems some are receiving EADs with later dates. Can anyone confirm that? Thanks.

Did you get FP notice?

A colleague of mine applied for 2nd EAD for his spouse around June 1st week, did FP immediately and got the card within 2 weeks. The application was e-filed at TSC and FP was done at Charlotte. The confirmation notice said to call 800 number for biometrics appt.

However, I applied on June 29th and the confirmation notice stated that I will receive a biometrics appt from TSC. I am still waiting for the biometrics notice. This was my third EAD application. In previous two applications I was told to call the 800 number for biometrics appt.

What did your confirmation notice state regarding biometrics appt?
 
This was my first try at e-file. I have never e-filed any petition before. So, even though my electronic receipt said that I needed to make an appointment for FP I didn't notice it at first. USCIS sent me a letter reminding me that I needed to do that. FP was done on June 26. I didn't know that for e-file applications you had to appear at a local office. I would have never e-filed if I knew that. The "local" office for me is quite far away in another state!
 
By the way, is this true that district offices have stopped issuing interim EADs? I can't quite see how that's possible. I thought that 90-day rule was instituted by law, wasn't it? All USCIS documents and InfoPass still say it's possible. Not to mention there was no announcement from the USCIS.
 
That's what I read in some of the posts that district offices are not issuing interim EAD's. I don't know if its true. I also read that biometrics is not required for everyone. It is very confsuing, scary and frustrating.

I feel you should initiate an inquiry as your date is past the officially published processing date for EAD.

I hope so too civ. I tried to call them this morning. But got the "temporary technical problem" message. I have this feeling that they have messed something up, lost my FP or something. I really need this soon, or the domino effect will put my life in jeopardy. My old EAD expired on the 14th of this month. I'm a college professor, and I don't think I can tell my students "sorry I can't help you"!

If your old EAD expired on July 14th, make sure you are on a unpaid leave of absence till you get your new EAD card.
You don't want to work without authorization while your 485 is pending - there may be some unpleasant consequences.

Its time to look out for your own needs - if that means telling the students that you are on vacation, so be it.

I am on leave on an as needed basis. I don't want to take off more than I have to. But the question is, if it's their fault, then why should I have to be the one that pays for it? This is soooo frustrating. I'm hoping I can get through to their customer service and sort this out.
 
I think my fears are coming true.....they lost my FP and photo evidence!! I'm sending a letter overnight with the FP visit receipt and see what happens. This is terrible!
