Anyone going to Canada in the first week of September

Anybody interested in joining with me to Toronto from Bay Area.I am planning to move to Canada permanently from US.I am driving from Bay Area to Toronto and please contact me if you guys are willing to travel with me.
 
Infact I am also planning to go ..but I haven't yet made my mind when to go? Ofcourse my destination is also Toronto only(I am from Bay area). I am landed immigrant in the year '98, I am just wondering will it be okay in the border or will there be any problem if I cross the border after so many days...,
Infact I have been filing the Canadian Taxes every year from past three years. There are no stamps in my passport which shows that I am in USA till now. Do u have any idea that they can be able to track our where abouts in this country.

I think its better worth trying to cross the border.How is the job situation for IT personnels in Canada.
 
I am not really sure...but I guess it might be worser than here ,Since the same companies here are also existing there.

But being a landed immigrant we can always have many other job resources other than IT.

I was laid of in January 2002 and till now not even an interview. This is in Toronto area. I was working for my prev US company.
