Can anyone share their exp for parents visit visa plz.

Is that correct that 134 + supporting doc are sent directly to consulate/embassy from here (U.S) before parents go for Interview?

Or Are they sent to parents to take with them on interview day?

Plz share ur exp

Learning from thread that many officer even don't look on doc. would anyone like to share their expereince who have sent 134+supporting documents and their parents get success in visa.?

Thanks

Prince,

I did send the I134 Supporting document and got visa for mother. Yes they need to carry with them during the Interview process.

Hi POJ,

You are supposed to send everything to your Parents and not to consulate.
When they take the appointment date from the consulate they send the copy of everything to the consulate through TTS Visa services before they go there for the interview. They are supposed to carry everything original with them for the interview.
Thats exactly how it happened with my Uncle and Aunt 2 months ago, when I sent them the sponsorship. The consulate in this particaular case was Bombay. You can visit the website of that particular consulate for futher details, where they are applying for the visa.

Thanks Khush,

The Authorized courier(Am-Exp) service from embassy are not allowed to accept more than 1-2 doc with visa applicaion and passport, where they live (Pakistan)

Application is already sent , they sent back passport and they are in interview call list queue.

recently learnd from other threads who sent doc directly to consulate. I did sent two copy of files set Org+copy to my parents so they can present them at interview time, just have concern as ppl shared that consulate officer even don't take a look on supporting document. and decission is made after only asking a couple of questions.

thanks for sharing.

Good Luck

They are right. Typically the whole interview process don't last more than 2 minutes and its very less time to go over each document. Thats why it would have been better if they would have send some docs. along with the initial application so that Visa offcier may have looked them more carefully.
I don't think sending anything directly to consulate will help as it might not even reach the right person but at the same time it won't hurt either. May be you can attach a cover letter along with the documents and justifying a reason for the issuance of Visa on the cover letter. Do mention the appointment Date & Time in that.

Khush
