after i received and e-mail from uscis stating:

On September 9, 2005, your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received here for processing. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.

NOW, i got this strange message:

On September 15, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

can this be an RFE ???
i haven't applied for nothing except the change of address i made about a month ago.could it be it?
i wonder what this is about .

Is it a email or regular mail? I got 1st message same but nothing else yet. Hope it is a positive news.
 
potentially very good news for you

This has been the standard message they send out to folks after approving their I-131 applications for either a Refugee Travel Document or a Permit to Reenter. I do not want to unnecessarily get your hopes up or anything, but it is certainly possible that they have approved your I-485 and mailed out your green card.

Please let us know if/when you receive the card.

I just guss your case. May be right or not.
Your case may be transfer to Taxes SC. Many folks with ND Jan-Oct 2002 had transfered there. Than they give your a new received case Email. Do not care of it. It should be OK.

i appreciate all of your positive and supportive attitude, u'r the best on this immig site.
i'm realy not stressing myself about the outcome, kind of tired of this immigration suspens. whatever happens let it be since all u can do is wait.
but i will let u know what's this mystery as soon as i got the letter( if i get it).
however, i read i read on this site on another forum someone has gotten the same e-mail as mine and it was an rfe.
anyway, time will tell.
i wish all of you guys to get the good news you've been waiting for for years.

Have you received any paper mail in reference to your email of Sept 15, 2005 ? I had similar experience as yours, but with opposite order - That is,
I received your last email on Sept 9, than your first email on Sept 15. After I received " ....the document we made based on...", I called CIS and the offier congratulated me for obtaining GC, telling me that is the standard language for PR approval. And then all of the sudden my online status changed to 800-900 days. Since I recently moved, I can not verify if CIS really mailed me something or not. I have not received any forwarded mail from them.

I think this officer may be wrong.Based on Nebraska service approval cases,this is a standard message for RTD approval.GC! It looks strange.Well,let's see may be good surprise in the next few days.

A friend of mine got the same messages as above and even the same dates from TSC ...I guess they moved a bunch of cases around those days to TSC. His ND is Feb '02 A few days later I believe Sep 21 the message changed to RFE request sent out...will see what they ask for...

Thank you, Samoel and Cadel. Let's see. It looks like the online updates are quite confusing now maybe due to the LIN-TSC switching.

hi, thanks guys for your help
sorry for not making any update on my case .
right now, i'm in europe visiting my relatives. i just find out that my online status has been changed on sept 19/2005. showing the message changing to RFE request sent to me . but i'm still aboard and just find out by my lawyer that uscis had scheduled me for fingerprint appointment for sept 28( which i missed :( ).i asked him to reschedule another appointment date for next week when i go back. he said he will try?
i let you all know about the outcome when i go back to the us.
