Anyone else got weird email on Fri?

My whole family got the same email on Friday. It said:

On September 9, 2005, your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received here for processing. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you decision as soon as processing is complete.

Has anybody else got this?

that is weird. perhaps they are transferring the files to a different office. :confused:
 
We were transfered to Texas on Aug 25. But lots of people posted that they were transfered too. I'm wondering if we have to wait 800---900 days? :confused:

USCIS may just updated your RFI in their system even they got it a while ago. My friend has met this situation. She sent RFI on 8/12. USCIS updated her info on 9/8.

this is their generic message. you will not have to wait that long. good luck and take care.

I believe that a main reason for the transfers is to speed up the approval process.
 
Got the same frustrated Email, however I was at the immigration office on Wednesday, and the immigration officer has said to me that Taxes center had received lots of boxes form NC, and they don’t know yet the procedure of handling these type of case. I am very upset. Help!!!!!!!

Which immigration office you were at? Are you in Texas now? Does that mean they don't prepare to handle these cases before they get those boxes?
 
It was San Bernardino, CA immigration office , based on the I/O statement it seems like they have not prepared asylum case before , I am very confused .
