Has anyone done H4 at mumbai consulate recently?
what is the exact process?

I have heard conflicting reports like -
- one can use drop box
- one has to go through VFS
- one has to go personally if its a first time.
- etc etc

Can someone please tell me what is the process to get H4 done at mumbai consulate? How long does it take? etc

Specifically, has anyone applied for a first time H4 visa recently in Mumbai? and if so what is the process?

The visa-services.com and the Mumbai US embassy web site have conflicting requirements stated. visa-services states that all first time applicants have to schedule an appointment, while the embassy web site does not state this. Any recent experiences?
