Anyone claiming unemployment benefits ?

I got my GC in last sept and laid off in Dec ..So I was job less for almost a month & in financial crisis ..Any threat to my GC if I claim unemployment benefits ? ..Anyone here already claiming unemployment benefits please shed some light ..

If you are really in financial crisis pawan and can't afford to ask a lawyer do this.

A couple of years back before i knew of immigration portal i used ot call up Rajiv Khannas office and some one in their dept. used to answer my question if it was a oneliner. I had a lawyer then but it gave me solace to get another professional opinion.

Call up their office and ask them perhaps they will answer your question. I don't know of sites but i believe sheela murthi also answers questions online.

Get professional opinion from them and make your decision. Pawan if you are really in a crisis remember you can work anwhere with your G.C. In any profession.
