Anybody with PP stamping exp in NY City

I am wondering how much time it takes to get PP stamping done in NYC
INS office.

Hi Vivian,

My approval letter says that I need to go for stamping on a Friday.
Can I go there on Monday or any other day since the NYC INS was closed
on Friday for Veteran\'s day.

your help is greatly appreciated.

You have to go on a Friday.
Also, DO NOT go to the 10th floor for passport stamping as it says on the approval letter.
Passport stamping is done on the 1st floor in room 102.
If you enter through the main entrance, it will be to the left of the entrance.
If you enter from the Worth Street entrance it will be ahead and on your right.

We got there at 6:45am - 45 minutes before the INS opened and were the 1st in line.
In and out in about 15 minutes.
I would advise you get there early.
By the time we left at about 7:50 there were about 100 people in line.

You don\'t need to make an appointment.

I brought the courtesy copy of the approval notice, passport with
I-94 card and 2 photographs (with A# and name written on the back in pencil).
I also brought my EAD cards (old and renewed) and AP notices, but the INS officer never asked for them, so I never offered them.
My wife brought the same and our marriage certificate, but they never asked for that either.

Hi NB, Could you please post your ND, EAC# etc. I live in NYC area and I believe that applications of a specific area having similar NDs are adjudicated at the same time. This would give me an idea of where my processs stands. MY ND is 9/23 .
