Here is the weared thing happend yesterday:
Filed for AP on 12/03/03 I mean 2003
Transferred to local office on June 18, 2004
Yesterday it transferred back to TSC, waooo Looks like they are working hard in transferring cases here and there.

My case is very straigh forward, never change job, never change address, 8 years with the same employer but i do not know what wrong with TSC

The reply I got from the congressional check was that the name check still pending. The ball is kicked to FBI. What is a smart reply.

If it is any consolation, this case is still pending. Fingerprint expired; sent fax to TSC--no response.
No RFE; Senator was informed in June 2004 that the case would be decided in a month--two months have passed without avail. Waiting for Godot!
Another input, albeit another case filed in September 2002. When applying for the third EAD TSC comes back with a real kickback--no trace of your I-485 application: please produce the check encashed by TSC which gives the receipt number,so that they can ascertain that fees were paid; also the first page of your I-485 application so that they can make a system check to locate the application. Have written back that the on-line case status says thet the fingerprints were received in October 2002 and processing has resumed in the case. Also gave them a copy of the I-485 receipt which states that the fees have been paid.
The alternative given--file a new I-485 with the requisite fees.
