Hello

Anybody(or anybody who knew anybody) who had their EAD extended at Chicago please reply.

Did you have to walk in or apply through mail and then go in person to collect it

or was the card mailed to you.

I have just a month left on mt EAD(I know dumb mistake) did not c the expiry properly.

Can we go to chicago INS to get the EAD renewed ? please post your experience and documents required for renewal.

Changing employers on 15th of this month.
I applied for renewal on apr 28th. I also got the receipt notice in mail. I want to know if I could go to local INS for the renewal approval.

my EAD will expire in Sept\'02. I talked to my lawyer and she is saying that I\'d have to apply by mail. If the EAD doesn\'t come in 90 days then I can go to the local office in Chicago downtown to get iEAD.

what you mean that you get the receipt notice in mail? did you applied through mail and now thinking of going to local INS office OR did you received the renewal notice without even applying for the renewal?
