Sorry guys for posting this but this forum is so great now that whenever we really need some great advice, this is the only place we will see (GREAT free service otherwise you have to pay a great price for everything in this country).
Is anybody used makemytrip to purchase tickets for India. Actually I recently got my AP approved and planning to visit India but my spouse's AP is expring 03/30/2004 so we have to come back before this date. When I called agents, seats are not available for lower fares for these dates. The difference in agent and makemytrip(cheaper) is around $60 per ticket and we have to buy 3 tickets. Anybody used priceline.com for buying India tickets, any ideas.
Also, anybody used e-tickets for India. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My experience:

Makemytrip is more expensive than the travel agents.

I tried M&D Travels and Travel Pro . Pretty good agents. Dont make u run around to get tickets.

If u are in NY/NJ u can personally go there pay cash and get tickets at that time

I used makemytrip.com It is good. But you have to be careful . you to reconfirm ur tickets with all airlines. That what we come across with our experience. Otherwise u will get the best price and it will check all available options..

I will try Travel Pro right now. Actually I am in Boston area but I think they can send the tickets by certified mail with a very small fee.
