I got email from USCIS as follows, any ideas?

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On September 9, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

That is the update you get after finger-prints are received. Very common.
I got it too in June 2004. FP done in May 2004.

Wow, that's is extremely unusual email, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before... just kidding man. Did you have FP recently? If so, that's their response.

After they received RFE, the online status changed "we received ..., this kind of case need 570 - 600 days...", but when you took 2nd FP, they still should tell you how long it would need, why no such information? This made me kind of confused.

My case status was changed as follows today:

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or
to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On September 10, 2004, we responded to your request for more
information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within
30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Any idea what kind of reponse would be?

Pete,

That normally happens either when there is an AR11 action or if they are mailing you something etc...and it is not an RFE.

Cheers

This message is exteremly one of a kind. It means your petiton is denied and you will be deported soon

human_alien,

What does AR11 action means?

My case is employment based, I didn't change company since day1, stay in the same position.
When I received 2nd FP notice, I found my SS number on the notice was not correct, (My attorney made a mistakes when he filed my I-140, I found it out and let him to contact INS to correct, but it seems they didnn't, when he helped me to file I-485, I found SS number still not correct, so asked him again to notify INS the correct one) I called CIS help number and asked one lady to change it, not sure if this request caused this message.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

Armie,

How do you know this message means my case is denied? Why do you say I will be deported? I feel frustrated already.

AR11 is change address form. I think it is your request caused the message change.

Armie is just joking. Don't be too serious.

slw3k,

Thank you for your help. I don't want to get any troubles in my case, too much already, just wish it smooth. I think everybody has the same wish that I had.

Have a nice weekend.
