Anybody received EAD, AP after filing for I485 CONCURRENTLY WHILE I140 IS PENDING?

I read on a Indian community newspaper that EAD will not be issued on a concurrent filing until the actual I140 is approved.

I am wanting to find out if this is true? I am sure that will be a lot of us who had filed for 140 and 485 concurrently and waiting for EAD and AP documents?

Please post your response as this may be useful for several others.
 
I-140 Approved :)

I am still waiting for the EAD, AP. In the meantime, my I-140 was approved on Oct 12th EB2.

I-140 Approved on 12 October 2002.

I guess my EAD was processed after I-140 approval. I solved my own puzzle.

When did you concurrently file? Did you get your RD/ND?

On Friday my Advanced Parole was also approved.
 
I mailed everything last week.

So, no RD/ND yet.

Congrats on the Advanced Parole. Now that you hav all 3 (I-140, AP and EAD) you should be free to travel abroad :)

I have an expired visa stamped so i really need this 3 anxiously.

(spouce desperately need EAD. I Got an RFE on 140.....)

I created this thread hoping to unraval exactly that mystery - chicken or egg which one comes first???
Going by what I see on this thread which is pretty much me, YES EAD is issued after I-140 approval.

But I have also read on other thread/other websites that EAD will be issued after a prima facie scrutiny of I-140 to avoid frivolous filing. In other words EAD can also be issued prior to 140 approval but after a review of 140 petition.
Now in your case since you have an RFE in 140, they may even hold back on issuing EAD if RFE is material to the review process of EAD issuance. In such case EAD may not be issued until the RFE is complete. Again this is only my take. I have no way to cross check this.
