Hi guys, I applied for adjustment of status on 04/02 and called USCIS 2 months ago to find out about my case. I recived a letter telling me that a complete I-89 with photos is required to complete processing of my case and bring this letter to USCIS for processing. I have been told before that my name check has been pending since August of 2003 and I have no idea what is I-89. I coud not find it in USCIS website. Has anyone heard about it before? I would truly appreciate you help.

i-89 is form for green card, where you sign and put finger print and green card get ordered by local office and you get card in mail in 3 weeks.

Thanks, where do you I feel that form? Do I have to feel it at USCIS office or I can download it form web? I still have no hope my waite is over. When I call them and gave them the recipt number that local office gave me, they told me my case was approved on July of 2002  I dont know if they have approved my case because I have not got a seprate letter regarding of my approval. I should state that I applied for permanent residency through marrige.

You can not download the form. It is an internal form the center uses. When you are approved in most cases they will get you to sign the form there, they will take your index finger print, they will ask for new front facing photos then they collect your old EAD, AP, approval letter. They will then stamp your passport with the tempoary proof of permanent residence stamp. They then submit this to the Service center and thats what's used to order your green card.
