Anybody got RFE for 2001 Tax return?

2001 tax returns or 2000?
isn\'t it a little premature to ask for 2001 tax returns? you have until april 15th to file it
 
nd 11/00, fp03/01, rfe 01/04/02

RFE FOR 1.employment letter,2.copies of three recent pay stubs,3. copies of form 1040 for the 2000,2001 tax years,along with all of the attachments for each yeart.w-2 for for 2000,2001.if u need this letter from ins post your fax # ,i wiil glad fax to you.
 
2001 return is ridiculous

I got this RFE and my lawyer said that they will write a letter to explain that probably what they meant is 2000 tax return since they gave us a deadline for April 2,2002. So what my lawyer did is send just my 3 paystubs, but let see what will happen.

Whats the big deal in filing 2001 return and satisfy the RFE rather than trying to explain them why you are not complying the RFE. I think its a waste to time arguing with INS.

INS replied: 2/7/02
waiting for approval

INS asked for W2 for 2001, 3 paystubs & 2001 tax return.

at the time of submitting ur 485
did U enlclose these W2/paystubs/ax return or not??
 
This is a interesting, & important topic,

I think, all I-485 approval waiters should file their Tax return as soon as possible, so that we have 1040 in hand to reply RFE incase.
Am I right guys?

I did enclose my W2, tax return when I filed for 485.
By the way, just check AVM and my case was approved!!!
