Just wondering if anybody got RFE after 2nd FP recently?
Usually how is it? will they sent RFE first or FP first?

I am seeing a drop in number of RFE's nowadays

I did not get one but my guess is that you are likely to be approved without RFE after 2nd FP. Keep posted. I will be in the same boat after I do my 2FP in a week.

I asked the same question in another thread a couple of weeks back. Nobody said categorically yes or no, but I ran my own scan on the forums and I think I only found two cases where RFEs were issued after FP2. But now they are accelarating the FP2 schedules for Jul/Aug cases because of expiration, they may need FPs to be current before properly reviewing everything else in the file. A few people responded to my thread and said that FP2 does NOT guarantee not getting an RFE. I wish I knew!

princessfiona - if I recall, you are a derivative on your husbands case, and he was approved earlier this year? Did you both do your FP2 in January 04? Did you ever receive your RFE yet? What was it for?

hi,
yeah thats right. i am derivative on my husband's case. his was approved in june'03. no we did not do our fps together.

i got my rfe letter yesterday. its for some document regarding immunizations with which my doc created some confusion. will be going to him on monday to find out what is to be done.

hey guys, can u tell me if its ok sending the rfe response without the lawyer's mediation? he charges 100 bucks for the simple thing. is it ok if i send the response or is it faster or has any other advantages sending it via the lawyer?

thanks :)

Don't see any reasons why not, as it seems like a simple RFE request. I've found one advantage to using my lawyers to be that they can track stuff inside the CIS better than I can, and they also have a special phone number for contacting the CSC to deal with issues (like, for example, you send your RFE back and the CIS 'loses it'...) I've had to use my lawyers twice for stuff like that and the issues were resolved within 24 hours. So, maybe it's $100 bucks for peace of mind, or a waste of money. I think the call is yours.
