Can you tell me what's the number to call at Bombay to find out the status of your case, my case reached bombay on dec 8th.

Go to Contacts. The number is there.
Please read other posts in ths forum to come to your conclusion if you should call them or not since it looks like these days they are mentioning in their letter "Not to call".

Docs reached consulate on 11/18. Still waiting. Can someone post a notice once the interview schedule for Jan 05 is posted on the Consulate website. I have been checking 2 - 3 times everyday but no luck so far.
