Anybody who got iEAD from Charlotte, NC plz post your experience. Thnx.
My EAD is pending for over 90 days at Vermont SC. Would that be an issue?
Do we have repay to the fee?
When is the best time to go? What are all the papers needed?
Do they issue it the same day? How long is the wait?
 
Interim EAD

We went in November for iEAD at Charlotte.

No, we didn't pay anything.

Best time of day is as early as possible. I think they open at 7:30 am. Our wait was 2.5 hours, since we only got there by 9:00 am.
We got it the same day valid for 8 months, without any questions.

Papers we had with us:
New application form filled in
Old EAD's
I-485 Receipt Copies
Screen Prints for I-765 not approved from INS website.
Copies of I-765 Receipts.
Passports

That was it. From the time our number was called and we hand in papers (1.5 hour wait) till we got the iEAD was 1 hour. We just went and had a "late breakfast" uring that time. They took new pictures, and we were out.

By Car:
Take interstate 77 South.
Get off at Exit 5 for Tyvola Road.
Take right at end of exit ramp and head west on Tyvola Road for 1 mile until South Tryon Street.
Make left onto South Tryon Street.
Go approximately 1/2 mile and turn left into Tyvola Centre.
Complex entrance will be on left.

Parking:
Free Public Parking is available within the office complex.
