Anybody got approved less then a year???

Hi All,
Did anybody got approved less then a year? I'm just curious if I have to wait from 12-18 months as stated on INS site or it's the
matter of luck only.
My RD is 27 of June 2002, FP - 06/25/02

You got your FP only 2 days after RD??? According to this luck, you will probably get approved within 3 months ))

It took me 3 months to get I485 receipt and 5 months to have FP!! So you are much much luckier than me.

Sorry, my mistake. Received Date was 27 of April of 2002.
Yes otherwise it would be weird

My friends got approved 2 days before their year came up! Mine has gone more than a year already and no news.

approval in 6 months!!

one of my friend got the approval in less than 6 months. His ND was in June,2001, with in two months he got EAD, in next two months he got FP, then again in less than two months, he got approval also. Total 485 took just 6 months. This is not fake information!!

I got fp,ead, ap in less than two months.
now waiting for approval ..

normally i think FP, EAD, AP doesnt matter when it comes
approval anyway takes a year , and all other comes sooner or later with in a year.!!

is it true??

So there is a sense actually to keep checking ones status
from time to time.

It is true that EAD/AP/FP does not matter to approval process. It is the RD that counts! As long as you have FP results by the time your case is processed, FP bears nothing to the journey of approval.
