Inderviewed at newark 7/26/01. The office passed it but did not stamped the passport bcoz of CIA check pending. He put a stamp on passport that I was present for interview. He said that he is clearing the paperwork meaning no more RFEs/interviews. He said that case will be on hold til end of august and if newark office doesn\'t hear anything from CIA then they will send the approval letter. I have seen these CIA hold cases,including "localtransfer"\'s case yesterday, more often lately, specially after interviews. Has anybody got approved after CIA check pending. Please post.
