Anybody else who did FP in 1/03 and earlier are still waiting? Mine RD 6/01, ND 7/01, and FP 1/03. Please share. Thanks.

Has anyone tried to write to TSC or ask your lawyer regarding the situation (FP expiring in 2 months)? Has anybody filed AP or EAD very recently?

me too!

For both spouse and myself-

RD 08/01, ND 09/01, FP 01/03 (mid Jan), WAITING?

As I posted in an earlier thread, I found lot of approvals/activity on my ND recently through the scans but majority of them had FPs received in April (April 16, 2003 to be precise). No activity on FPs received before Feb 2, 2003 i.e., on FPs done in January or earlier. As usual, they have forgotten about these cases.

I have written to TSC reminding them about FP expiration earlier this month. I havn't seen any results yet i.e., no activity on my application.

I have also recent AP approval (Jan 2004) and my spouse had both AP & EAD approval (Jan 2004). However, unlike other recent I485 approved cases these hasn't triggered anything for us. So I sense that this "triggering theory" floating on this board is a myth

I did talk to my lawyer about my F.P.
said we need to wait.
But he also suggested to activate my file through EAD/AP and since my EAD is about to expire in 4 months i am going to apply for my EAD this week.
Hope this will activate my file.
See what happens. Keep you posted.

Hopeful0820,

I see more activity on my ND (mid-Sep, 2001) that include mostly RFEs and couple of approvals but now they are moving to FPs done in May 2003. Bad news for us, I guess!

The lawyers are totally useless, except for a few good souls such as our host (No, I am not sucking up to him). This is my conclusion after being in the GC process for 6 years, since 1998. So I have stopped communicating with my lawyer. I can at least write to TSC and they won't charge me their time for reading my letter, the lawyer will. What a shame!
