There are several bills being discussed in the Senate at the moment. The most prominent ones at the moment seem to be the bills proposed by Senator's Specter and and Frist. Both have provisions to change 8 USC 1447b and make it difficult to sue USCIS.
It may be some months before any immigration reform bill becomes law either because the House and the Senate will have to agree to the same text and some members of Congress are hesitant to deal with such a big issue during an election year.
