Any suggestions???

Hello folks
I was approved as an asylee last july 5th 2008, I was planning to apply for my wife she in fact out of the US. Unfortunately I could not locate where she was, just one week I had a call from her she left my COP for security reasons. My question for you is: Can I still apply for her? Isn't it late? The other preoccupation is that she can't find our mariage certificates because at the time she the COP, she left everything behind. She had to leave as quick as she could.Do you guys have any suggestion how can I process this particular case?

You can apply for her two years after you were granted asylum. You should still file the petition even though you don't know where she is. Just attach an explanation letter to your I-730 form.
