Hmm, I got this email...I'd heard this was potentially close to processing complete when you get a message like this:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status:

On April 21, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

This app was filed in June 2002 by the way, it's at the CSC.

The message indicates that they have sent you an RFE (Request For Evidence)... which means that you probably missed out some info/supporting document when sending your form, or that they just need some additional info.

You will soon get a letter from USCIS explaining exactly what you need to send. Until they receive this info/evidence, your case will not proceed further, so send the required info as soon as you can after get the notice.
