Parents visitor visa valid for another 2mo - can they comeback and apply for extension??
HI,
My friend's parents have visitor's visa from previous travel They had to cut short their visit due to some family emergency just after a month stay here- Visa is valid till nov 2003. They want to come back, for the left over 2 months (out of the 1yr multiple entry issued in 2002) and stay for another 6months after applying for exntension. They don't have 10yr multiple. Just have 1yr visa stamp.
Question) can they come back to utilize those 2mo?
Q)if they want to stay of another 6 mo, can they apply for extension from with in USA?
OR
SHOULD they be applying for a fresh 6mo tenure visa and then come here? Would the Chennai consulate ask them just use those remaining 2 months till nov 03?
Any Problems at POE if you try to enter US again with visitor's visa in short period.
In another theard some one suggested that it is recommened to have 6 months gap between each visit to US on B1.
Is that true?
