06/24/2007: Form # I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
09/12/2007 Form#I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN (Filed on December 2005) **At that time, my wife was a permanent residet, and she becamse USC on May 27th. I sent a letter to adjust the status of the aplication , and received a reply by saying that the status was changed.

I got interviewed on October 11, and the IO informed me that my name was Cleared from the FBI, but the I-130 not approved.

Went to the info pass 2 weeks ago, and they told me that they can't schedule an appointment with the IO who interviewed me.

No LUD yet, and I am not sure what to do in this situation....
I feel that it is worth than the FBI name check, because no body can help other than the IO. !!!

Did you receive an approval notice for the I-130? I'm confused what you're asking, and why is the original IO the only one that can process the case? Pretty colors, though, in your post.

-Did you receive an approval notice for the I-130?
No, other wise I wouldn't be posting this questions.

-I'm confused what you're asking,
asking for 'Any suggestion' !

-why is the original IO the only one that can process the case?
Because he is the one who told me "your FBI name check is clear, and I
would've approve the case for you, but I don't have the I-130 approval yet."
So, he sent an email to California service center and asked them to process the
I-130 because it has been a long time.

At least I got your attention with these colors.

aymannada, thanks for the clarification and yes indeed the colors got my attention.

The way I look at it, the IO couldn't adjudicate your AOS because of an unapproved I-130 - however, he's apparently not the one with power to approve it anyway, otherwise he would have done it, right? Have you tried an Infopass and just ask for any IO to help with the case, if your original IO was busy? They should be able to understand that your I-130 needs to be approved without getting the original IO involved, in such a large organization as the USCIS, in my opinion ... but I might be wrong.
