Is there any recent successful interlink/transfer of I-485 from Pending I-140 (NIW) to I-140(EB1-EA). Any advice

I-485, I-131, I- 765 (TSC) based on pending I-140 (NIW)
Filed : 24th July 2007
Checks cashed 5th October 2007 from WSC and transferred to TSC
 
what i came to conclusion is that your both I-140 need to approve for linking, not the pending I-40. So i filed new I-485 for eb1a
 
Yes, You are right. Eventhough both the approvals does not automatically result in the transfer. In the case the pending it is upto the IO to decide. When I called service center and went to Infopass, everyone has a different answer.
