Any recent I-140 approval from NSC

I-140 received at NSC on June 05, 2002.
LIN : 02-204-xxxxx

I am waiting for I-140 approval from INS.
What would be best go for CP at montreal or I-485?

Its been already 60 days INS received I-140. Any Idea how much time it would take if I go for CP at montreal ?
 
my 140 RD is 2/25/2002, still waiting

My I-140 receipt date is 2/25/2002, I am still waiting for approval.
Is this very abnormal?
Are there any body on the same boat?

Have you try to use the automated systems to check the status ?
I am getting the msg "LIN could not be foun".

Is the systems down ?
 
Yes, My lawyer called

My lawyer called IIO and was told that my G-28 form was missing from my case. So, I made up G-28 form on 07/08/2002, and I was told by my lawyer that it is taking 4 weeks to process my case.

But, now it has been more than 5 weeks, the AVM still said that my case is pending.

I do not know what INS is doing.
 
Why does it always tell me "imcomplete number" when I input my I-140 recepit number? Any trick?
