Anyone who has been to Ottawa, Canada for revalidation, please share your experience. In particular, I am interested to know
1) What questions you were asked during the interview ?
2) Did you get the passport back the same day ??
3) Is US education a must for H1B renewals , when the previous stamps were from the home country? - Anyone out here who has got H1B revalidated at Ottawa, w/o US education and previous stamps from home country please step in ..?
Also, on the US Consular Services, Canada Home page , it says for H1
"I-797 (either I-797A or I-797B - I-797C is not acceptable) Must be original and full page. Appointment should be made ten days prior to the validity date on the I-797 or after the validity date has passed. "
Does this mean that one cannot take an appointment more than 10 days before the start of new H1, esp in a H1 renewal case.
