any recent EAD approvals

Hi,
I filed for my EAD nrewal on June 22nd. I am still waiting approval and my current EAD expires on August 11th.

Could you please let me know any one who applied close to my date got approvals

Question: Is yours a first time EAD and AP ?
Or are they both renewals ??

Also is your new EAD valid for one year or two ?
And does the new EAD validity start after the old EAD ends - or does it overlap ( you lose a part of the time that way )

Sorry, I did see your msg. until now!

Yes, mine is a first time request for AP, and EAD. (I have until early 2007 to go, on H1B status)

I was issued a 1-year on my EAD.

Meanwhile, you might have learnt of the latest USCIS rule - wherein new EADs are no more being limited to the 1-yr validity. USCIS will issue EADs based on time-frames they envisage for processing/adjudicating (pending) applications.
