Any problem when traveling to canada by your own car?

Hello everyone. I have plans to land in canada in second week od Dec for my immigration. Since I have an expired H1 visa I will also try to use 30 day revalidation.

I wanted to know that can I find any big hurdles when I am taking my own car to enter canada and returning back to US in a weeks time.

Check the "Permanent Residence In Canada" section of the forum. It has length discussion about this topic. It is not advisable to take your own car as the Canadian Immigration Officer might make you pay taxes and complete other formalities as they would think that you are moving there permanently
