Any problem is there is a break in EAD?

My current H1 is valid till 8/2005. EAD expires 7/04.
I have never used EAD/AP and do not intend to use it.


Should I file for EAD such that there is no break or should I apply so that I get it before my H1 expires. Will there be any delays/problems when I apply for second EAD after a few month's break

Hi armie

It is better to have both EAD & H1 valid at any time. In this
country no one knows when they will get layoff.
Even though you feel comfortable & safe with the current employer, apply for EAD renewal at least by June.
