I called up Vermont and they were not able to find my case.

You should follow up with your attorney,recipt does not take so long.
mine was filed on 4 dec and i got the recipt through the attorney by
12th.

Take a look at the cheque you sent to INS
Hi Shanks, If you paid the INS with a personal cheque you could ask your bank to send a copy of that cheque. On the cheque will be the EAC number. Then call the VSC AVM (802-527-4913) and get the status of your case. Had you paid using money order this would not work (or I don\'t know how to proceed any further). Good luck. Sri.

Mailed on 29th Oct... got RFE for W2
REF was for W2 and company\'s financial condition.
My company did not find it necessary despit I telling them to attach
W2 and company financial condition info to my I140 application.
After reading experiences of people here I adviced my company but
they did not listen ... such a frustration.

Renewed Passport while I140 was in process
When I gave them papers for LC and I140, i gave them copies of old
Passport ( which was valid at that time) but while it was in process fr I 140, I had to renew my passport ( expired). will that be problem.
Obviously for 485 , I will give them new passport copies as well.
