Any one with RFE reply sent in Aug still waiting?

Hi ,

Any one with RFE reply sent in August still waiting for approval? I wonder why INS takes so long to approve after it receives RFE reply. We see a lot of approvals for those who have submitted rfe reply in september but those who have submitted the RFE reply in july/aug still waiting?

REPLY RECEIVED BY INS - 08/04/2002
Approval - still waiting


Any thoughts?? Any body in the same boat?

Hi GIVEMEGCINS,
Call INS and talk to IIO. Sometimes even after getting the response INS would have kept your file aside. If some adjudication officer is on leave or some other reason. But if you call them, they may check the status and reassign your case basck to that officer for fisnishing the processing.
In my friends case they kept the file aside and when he called INS 45 days after he sent RFE response they approved his case within a week.
In my case INs received RFE response on Sep 11, till now I didn't get my approval. But when I called them on Oct 10, IIO said they are Completing the Processing.
My RD is 06/20/2001.
RFE on July 31, 2002,
RFE response to INS on SEp 11, 2002.

So call IIO and check your status. If in case your file is kept aside they will open it back.

Hope we all will get our approvals soon.
