Any one with ND in September hasn't recieved FP notice?

It seems that everybody already got his or her FP notice with ND in September. My ND is 09/05, I have not heard a thing from CSC. Should I call IIO or not?

Sept ? people with March/April.... ND are still waiting. I don't know why, INS send FP notices to some of the applicants within a month or two...

Doesn't really matter. Early FP does not mean early approval.

I actually started thread to check no. of people without FP (Jul - Sep) . I have not got any good data on it.

yes there quite a few people from April and Some others in all the months in 2002.

As per Rupnet listing about 25% of total filers for 2002 have not received FP. However I am not really sure, probably 15-20%.

FP notice doesn't mean anything!

According to Murthy.com, FP can happen any time, either in the beginning of the AOS process or end. It does not signify anything. FP notices are generated by private organizations subcontracted by INS. So it depends on the efficiency/receipt it notices from INS to generate the FP notice.

For the record, I haven't received a FP notice myself, filed on Oct 1st. But I wouldn't be too worried if I were you.

Yes the timing of FP may not affect the AOS processing.

However if you need to relocate to different city or state then getting it done at the earliest will avoid anxiety.

Without FP check obviously the security check is not completed and hence may delay in AOS.

FP RD on Sept. 20

My friend's I-140 & I-485 was received by INS on Sept 20, 2002 & she already received her FP notice last Oct. 12. Her schedule FPis on Nov. 1, 2002 in LA.
