I have Visa stamped till Sep 2005 (that was done in Washington but now is not available any more) and have appointment for Aug 18'05 at Calgaray. Have I797 valid till 2007 and want to go and re-validate. Want to know how safe is it? should go alone or better to go with Wife and Kids.

I am still with the same employer and have all the documents in place but still not able to decide. If its risky i will drop the whole idea of getting re-validated. Only concern was to avoid the appointment in Bombay and was planning to get it in case of emergency visit needed to India :( Just in case if they want to deny, based on my current valid VISA till Sep 2005 is my re-entry in US is sure?

Hi, I need to know the same type of answer as my current H1 (re-validated last year in US) is valid till OCT 05 and I wonder if we can come back on same even if new one is rejected.
