Any one talked to IIO?

couldnt get thru

I tried on Oct 11 (was on hold for 1hr 45 min - phew!!!), and tried again today (on hold for 40 min).

I think they are not picking up phones. Anyone got thru them recently?
 
I tried for an hour !

Fed up with it, i guess they reduced the staff or may be many are calling them since nothing is seen these days ?
 
Talked to IIO on Oct 9th (2:00 PM)

I got through to the IIO in about 10-15 mts twice on Oct 9th.
First time the IIO said that she's not able to hear me due to some echo (actually I did'nt believe that it was true). The next IIO
responded and found out my status.

My details:
WAC-02-228-xxxxxx
RD, ND: 7/10/02
AP: Approved 8/10/02
FP notice: 8/1/02
FP done and results cleared by INS
EAD Assigned to officer on 9/26 according to the IIO I talked to. He mentioned that I should get the EAD card before end of October.
The IIO also said that it will be another 6-8 months for GC approval.
 
Any one got thru IIO recently

Any one got thru IIO most recently, after audit is over. Do we have confirm info of audit being over.

Please share info.
 
I spoke to an IIO yesterday

I actually got to speak to an IIO yesterday - i didn't ask if the audit was over - just my case status. He told me it was assigned to an officer on Oct 9th.
So i guess the audit must be over. I don't think they assign cases to officers during the audit, but then i may be wrong.

I actually called the IIO just to find out my status and if we had to redo our FP since we have crossed the 15 month validity.
 
Finally i got thru

I had to hold for 40 min. I was about to keep it down, when officer came on line.

They sent my files to NRC - Missourie by mistake. Now they are ordering back from there, as officer said - files are sent there only after they are approved. Mine was a mistake.
It will take atleast 4 weeks for file to come back.

I also got through. IIO told me that the case is not assigned yet. FP recieved, but investigative report is not recieved yet (may be a load of baloney). I asked her, "when you think the case will be assigned", and she said "I dont know".

The same thing happened with my friend. They are ordering the file back. His case is still pending ( August ND).
 
Annoommen, I have a weird feeling that you will see your approval soon.

Sumkap, and others who'se files have ended up in Missouri, what are your apprx. WAC#'s? I think if one file went there, it might have been a batch of a few more with it.

sumkap...had the same story

I guess it was sometime back in Aug I heard this from the IIO.
They asked me to send a fax...that did not work out...I called
the IIO again and this time it was an american voice...he told
me that he would order it this time from NRC and then pass
it onto Div-I. Checked last week....finally case assigned to
officer on Sept 24. This time it was an Indian voice and IIO asked
me not to call them in next 4 weeks as she did not expect
that a decision would be made. She was very helpful...
My message never changed after they sent me the FP
notice...done FP Apr12th @ San Jose.

My WAC # 01-268-XXXXX

I did manual search on WAC numbers (thru online tracking site) with series 01-268 the day this site came online and gathered foll. statistics

1. 16 - Total 485 cases
2. 9 - cases approved
3. 1 - withdrawal notice sent
4. 4 - Recieved (i guess processing resumed stage)
5. 1 - FP Notice mailed.
6. 1 - ADIt Processing Complete


Most of these cases are approved in June/July this year.

How long it took for your case i.e. number of weeks/days (from the day IIO said - they will order file back and the day your case got assigned). Could you please share.

EAD approved after RFE for signature card 2/1
fp 4/12 as per schedule @ San Jose
Added my wife at the end of April
sent out AR-11 form
Wife AP had an RFE - they asked for my 140 approval notice
Wife EAD approved this Sept but looks like it's lost in mail
got FP notice for Wife recently after a fax inquiry
AVM still says FP notice sent on 3/8
I predict that the next one would be we have sent you an RFE...

Nothing seems to be common except one.

PD - 11/99
RD - july 01
ND Aug 01
FP done Nov 01
Processing resumed Jan 9
EAD approved - Nov 01, but card returned back undelivered (didnt change address - Postal service at fault here!!!).
Finally recieved card in March 02.

Thats it. I think sillyman's Bundle theory holds good here, they simply throw some bundles in wierd direction.
