Any one here has submitted VISA withdrawal request.

Has anyone here submitted for withdrawl of visa revalidation application and got there passport back. Can you tell how long is it taking to get the passport back. I submitted mine last week and i still haven't got it. When i called washington , visa officer told it is taking 5 to 10 working days for withdrawl. Any body with similar experience.

Actually i also send the withdrawl request on May 29 th , so far i didn't recieved , Is there any way to check the status whether they recieved or not . I mean any phone number for that withdrawl department ..I really appreciate your input ..

I had applied to the DC office for withdrawal of my revalidation request. I was specifically asked to submit my request by fax and my pasport was sent back (with a stamp of "cancelled without prejudice" on my earlier visa) within a week.

You could call up the DC office (all revalidation requests are processed at DC office, even if you have submitted to St.Louis office) and check the status, also ask them for instructions on withdrawals.

I sent my withdrawl request fax a week back , so far i didn't received my passport .. can any of you tell me any other procedure to withdraw , it is an emergency ,, i have to leave ..I really appreciate your input ..

Did anyone submit withdrawal requests of visa revalidation recently and got his/her passport back? I submitted a request on July 7 and it has been five days. I called the DC visa office and was informed that it may take 1 to 2.5 weeks now to process withdrawal requests.
I would appreciate it if you can tell me how long it took for your withdrawal. Many thanks!
