Any one else didn't receive SSN based on EAD ?

Hello there ,
so i received my initial EAD card based on asylum on the feb 24th , however i didn't receive the SSN as of now
i called my local office and they said i should Apply and that process takes 4-6 weeks ..

any advice anyone was in that position .. thanks alot

just wait

i received mine 3 weeks later and some received their SSNs even before their EADs

Please I need an answer I filed for asyllum with my daughters but I have only gotten my EAD, nothing on my children account it still says case received on their status.pls do I need to do anything
