It has been 90 days since the reciept of my RFE... It is 2 years now since the initial reciept of my I-485 application. Still Pending...

Have you ever contacted your local senator or congressman for help, if you have already contacted them, then try contacting them again, try to meet them personally and explain your concern, they would certainly help you. In my case my attoney\'s office suggest me to contact them, I got very good help from my congressman just for writing a
letter explaing my concern, if there was any problem with your case
INS would already have trasferred your case to local INS office, it looks like vermont INS itself would approve your case, just make your
local congressman or senator call them regularly so that VSC would approve it soon.

INS AVM ack.ed RFE receipt on 09/26/01

This delay was due to an INS error; an officer requested for RFE on 04/01 but they never mailed the request until I called them
on 07/01. The reason I didn\'t call them was my dependent\'s FP got rescheduled and then redone. I thought this was the reason
for dealy.

Looks like things are slowly moving now. I plan to contact senetor/congress only if it doesn\'t get approved by Oct end.
